In Canada, research has examined international-local student interaction by focusing on international students’ perceptions and experiences. As such, the perspectives of local students toward socialization with remain less explored. Designed as a survey-based case study 17 at university in Ontario, this sought to understand how improve between two groups. Additionally, investigated conceptualized their experiences multiculturalism multilingualism university, considering importance diversity for development intercultural knowledge relationships. Findings suggest that considered be multicultural/multilingual primarily based availability cultural events different languages being spoken campus. ascribed much students, but expected assume more formal role developing structured opportunities groups come together.
